Assalamu Alaikum,

We address you on the year ended 2025 with a feeling of optimism, despite the challenges that we encountered.

This year began with political upheaval of unprecedented scale and social impact. It shook up the nation to the core. Subsequently, there was a deep sense of optimism across the nation. However, after the revolution, the economy suffered. Slow growth combined with inflation created a dull business environment. In addition, the war in the Middle East and Ukraine led to considerable global unrest.

Against this backdrop, Winmark focused on improving the quality of its businesses, strengthening our sales network across the business units, and resolving the urgent needs of our customers.

We focused on the development of a new generation of leaders from our own pool of young, talented executives through leadership programs. This was very much in line with the spirit of the political revolution, youth empowerment being the central theme. We also brought in some specialized skills and international talent in leadership positions.

We have invested in technologies to create better decisions on call, using artificial intelligence and digital platforms. These technologies not only help with automation and productivity, but create new possibilities for digital sales of goods and services.

We thank the senior leaders for boldly embracing the changes that came before us, and converting crisis into opportunities. Most importantly, I thank you, the Partners & clients, for being with us through thick and thin over the years, as we carry out our mission to improve the quality of life of the people of Bangladesh.
